Requirements

• Must possess and maintain New York State Permanent, Professional, or Initial Teaching Certification 7-12 English Language Arts - or be on a certification pathway, such as enrollment in a graduate school of education
• 3 years of classroom teaching in an urban setting and a Master’s degree are preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
