History Teacher 25-26 SY. To achieve the mission of Innovation Charter High School, History teachers ensure that our student-innovators achieve rigorous academic goals.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain New York State Permanent, Professional, or Initial Teaching Certification 7-12 History or be on a certification pathway
• 3 years of classroom teaching in an urban setting and a Master’s degree are preferred
• Use assessment data to improve student performance on school and State assessments
• Cultivate Innovation's core values in our student body
• Complete a minimum of 40 hours of professional development per year
• Provide out-of-class student support to achieve Innovation’s mission
• Additional duties as assigned by the Principal or his/her designee
