Job Description
Insight Housing is seeking a Resident Advocate (On Call) to provide direct support and supervision to individuals with mental illness. This 24/7 position involves providing essential care, administering medications, assisting with daily living, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role requires a commitment to trauma-informed care and a collaborative approach to services.
Requirements
- High school preferred
- CPR/First Aid Training
- Prior direct support experience with individuals experiencing homelessness or mental health
- Commitment to serving individuals experiencing homelessness, alcohol and drug dependency, and other mental health issues
- Knowledge of computer and Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS)
- Criminal record clearance
- TB clearance
- Health Screen clearance
- DOJ clearance through Live Scan
