Job Description
The Institute for Justice seeks a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join its talented Finance team. The Staff Accountant reports directly to the Assistant Director of Accounting and assists with daily accounting operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Accounting preferred)
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Experience with Sage Intacct and Concur preferred
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
