The ISMP Safe Medication Management Fellowship is a one-year program beginning in the summer of 2026. This Fellowship offers a healthcare practitioner (e.g., pharmacist, nurse, or physician) the unparalleled opportunity to learn from and work with some of the nation’s top experts in medication safety.
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- High level of comfort working independently as well as in a collaborative process
- Dedicated individual with a strong commitment to improving medication safety, the ability to work in a fast paced and often-changing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Graduate of an accredited College/School of Pharmacy, Nursing school, or medical school
- Five years of clinical experience or at least one year of postgraduate experience working in the healthcare setting as a PGY1 resident
- Completion of PGY2 residency preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite of products (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Proficient with Windows-based applications
- License to practice pharmacy, nursing, or medicine in the United States
