Infrastructure Automation Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to bridge the gap between development and operations, applying software engineering principles to infrastructure and operational challenges. The role involves creating support documentation, managing monitoring services, and coordinating cross-team communications related to releases and maintenance. Automation SREs will support existing Infrastructure Developers by taking ownership of application support and process work.

Requirements

• 3-6 years experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
• 2–4 years of experience as a Systems Engineer (infrastructure design and implementation)
• 2–4 years of experience as a Platform Engineer (internal tooling and platform development)
• 2–4 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
• Experience as a CI/CD pipeline and automation tool support (JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.)
• Experience with Observability platforms (Grafana, Elastic, DataDog, Splunk)
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and databases (SQL, PostgreSQL)
