Job Description
DTEX Systems is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with software engineering experience to modernize their infrastructure and improve operations. The role involves designing and implementing automation solutions, applying software engineering principles to solve operational problems, and transitioning from legacy operations to automated Infrastructure as Code. DTEX provides a mission-oriented culture and supports career development for individuals with a passion for building innovative solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing production environments in AWS and/or GCP.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with Terraform, including best practices for state management and modular design.
- Strong knowledge of Linux internals and high competency in Bash scripting and command-line operations.
- Proficiency with Ansible and/or Saltstack as configuration management tools.
- Expert level understanding of Git and collaborative workflows.
