Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Interstate Waste Services is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles and equipment, primarily on yellow iron machinery and diesel trucks. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in a related field (sanitation/construction industry a plus)
• Computer diagnostic experience with diesel systems a plus
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations
• Ability to read and write English clearly
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Physical ability to stand, squat, and lift
