Job Description
Hiring for Afternoon (3pm-11pm or 3pm-1am) or Midnight (11pm-7am) shifts, with overtime and Saturday requirements. Responsibilities include inspecting and polishing dies, assisting with die corrections, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge of die/die shop
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Flexibility with scheduling based on business needs
- Good attitude
- Reliability and good attendance
- Willingness to work between plant locations (Garden City and/or Livonia)
- Ability to follow directions and perform assignments given
- Ability to read and write in English fluently
- High school diploma or GED, certification or Associate Degree preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of safety and productivity around the aluminum extrusion press
- Valid Drivers License (preferred)
- Pass stringent background check and substance screening, medical exam may be required
