Head of Accounting (m/w/d)

Requirements

• Completed education or completed studies with a focus on finance, accounting, or controlling
• Ideally further education as a certified accountant or similar qualification
• Several years of experience in a leading financial position, ideally in a rapidly growing environment
• In-depth knowledge of creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (knowledge of IFRS an advantage)
• Experience with complex financial structures and group financial statements
• Experience in transfer pricing and dealing with tax authorities an advantage
• Safe handling of ERP systems and financial and accounting software (e.g. SAP, DATEV, Navision or similar)
• In-depth knowledge of debtors' and creditors' management and liquidity planning
• Good understanding of claim management and debt security
• Knowledge of tax law (value-added tax, transfer prices, business audits)
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Outstanding analytical and strategic thinking
• High leadership skills with the ability to motivate and further develop teams
• Hands-on mentality and solution-oriented and pragmatic working style
• Good communication skills and assertiveness
