Job Description
Isar Aerospace is seeking a Composites Production Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for carbon composite structures used in their launch vehicle, Spectrum. This role involves collaboration with internal teams, quality control, tooling management, cost management, troubleshooting, and research & development. The engineer will contribute to process improvement, material selection, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in an engineering discipline
- 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience in composite manufacturing
- Proficient with composite manufacturing methods
- Knowledge of LEAN production systems and continuous improvement methods
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Results-oriented with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
- Resilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
