We are seeking a Director of Sales to oversee our sales department, drive sales for our hotel, and meet or exceed the budgeted REVPAR.
Requirements
- Solicit, negotiate, and book both new and repeat business
- Actively sell room nights through outside sales calls, telemarketing, site tours, etc.
- Direct, train, coordinate and supervise the Sales and Catering Managers and the Sales Coordinator in all sales-related activities
- Meet or exceed the budgeted REVPAR for the hotel
- Prepare the hotel's annual marketing and sales plan based on the hotel's position and strengths within each market segment
- Forecasts occupancy fluctuations based on changing market conditions and directs selling activities to maximize revenue
- Ensure that team members (specifically front desk staff) are familiar with key accounts and "specifics" relating to business booked in the hotel
