We are seeking a Director of Sales to oversee our sales department and drive sales for our hotel. Your daily activities will involve outside sales calls, obtaining new accounts, conducting site tours, and networking with the local business community.
Requirements
- Solicit, negotiate, and book both new and repeat business
- Direct, train, coordinate and supervise the Sales and Catering Managers and the Sales Coordinator
- Meet or exceed the budgeted REVPAR for the hotel
- Prepare the hotel's annual marketing and sales plan
- Forecasts occupancy fluctuations and directs selling activities to maximize revenue
- Ensure that team members are familiar with key accounts and'specifics' relating to business booked in the hotel
