Electrical Engineering Intern

ITT is seeking individuals to operate in a fast-paced, high-energy, start-up environment to launch new sustainable products to market with accelerated commercial success. You will work alongside talented and diverse colleagues from the engineering team for up to 6 months in Spring 2026.

Requirements

• Install, assemble and testing of electro-mechanical systems in lab environment
• Record information and results about product performance
• Assist in the commissioning of new test rigs
• Communicate with customers, team members, engineers and managers to determine possible problems or update individuals with work progress
• Partner with electrical, firmware and mechanical engineers to fine tune the testing and diagnostic processes
• Recommend upgrades and modifications to improve system performance
• Maintain all tools, equipment and components by performing inventory and scheduled maintenance tasks
• Operate manual tools safely to avoid accidents
• Maintain documentations of system installation and maintenance procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in test lab
• Perform basic programming of VIDAR Motors, C code (if familiar), and any other programming language
• Decipher drawings, diagrams, blueprints and instructions
• Assist in creating drawings & schematics for components and assemblies in Altium
• Run simulations in LT Spice
• Run tests on PCBs in R&D laboratory
• Record faults and failures into reports
