Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate (DAVA) - USAF Academy

The Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP) is seeking a Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate (DAVA) to provide non-clinical emergent and urgent service to AF personnel, their family members, or intimate partners who are victims of domestic abuse. The DAVA will provide a private and confidential service to encourage victims in seeking assistance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, Counseling or Behavioral Science, or related field
• 2 years of experience assisting and providing advocacy services to victims of domestic violence/abuse or sexual assault
• Basic Advocate Credential with designation of Comprehensive Intervention Specialist
• Criminal history/Security Clearance background check
• Valid driver's license and transportation
