The Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP) is seeking a Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate (DAVA) to provide non-clinical emergent and urgent service to AF personnel, their family members, or intimate partners who are victims of domestic abuse. The DAVA will provide a private and confidential service to encourage victims in seeking assistance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, Counseling or Behavioral Science, or related field
- 2 years of experience assisting and providing advocacy services to victims of domestic violence/abuse or sexual assault
- Basic Advocate Credential with designation of Comprehensive Intervention Specialist
- Criminal history/Security Clearance background check
- Valid driver's license and transportation
