Job Description
IVA’AL Solutions, LLC is seeking an Air Force Family Advocacy Nurse (FAN) to provide comprehensive home-based prevention services to families affected by intimate partner abuse, child abuse, and problematic sexual behavior. The FAN will implement New Parent Support Programs, providing education, support, and anticipatory guidance to prevent child and partner maltreatment, and will also be involved in training facilities. The position involves providing nursing home visit services and ensuring compliance with AF FAP standards.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with unrestricted state nursing license
- BSN from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years’ experience post-BSN as maternal/child or community health nurse
- Home Visiting experience preferred
- Basic Life Support Certification (Course C)
- Current in maternal/child and family violence prevention nursing practice
- Drivers’ license and ability to travel between office location and private homes/facilities
