Job Description
JELD-WEN is seeking a Plant Quality Manager - Doors to join their team. The role will involve building a strategic quality system, investigating and correcting problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The individual must have strong statistical analysis skills and experience in product development and commercialization.
Requirements
- Develop and implement a plant-level Quality Management System (QMS)
- Establish and monitor key quality metrics
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Conduct internal audits
- Review manufacturing specifications and incoming materials
- Oversee product testing and inspection processes
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and Procurement
- Maintain detailed quality reports
- Define and implement quality procedures
- Ensure staff are trained in quality standards and procedures
- Supervise quality personnel
- Align product specifications with customer requirements
- Establish and maintain documentation and control procedures
- Support strategic initiatives
