Software Engineer, (Principal level) (Europe)

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Principal level) to lead cross-team engineering projects, improve backend stability, and shape the architecture and engineering capabilities for future growth. Ideal candidates are self-directed leaders with deep technical knowledge and a passion for building reliable, large-scale systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Proven experience leading projects across multiple engineering teams (50+ engineers)
• Expertise in backend development and full-stack systems
• Experience building enterprise-grade SaaS products; familiarity with AI-powered systems is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to operate in high-performing engineering organizations at scale
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to align technical work with business objectives
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
