This role is for a Senior Data Steward and Analyst within a partner company in the United States. The ideal candidate will be an analytical and detail-oriented data professional focused on ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and usability of business-critical datasets. This position will act as the primary advocate for data governance, defining standards, documenting lineage, and monitoring quality across credit, underwriting, and fraud prevention domains, collaborating with various teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, Athena, or BigQuery.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Solid understanding of credit risk concepts, underwriting processes, and key lending KPIs.
- Exposure to AI/ML decision systems, particularly in underwriting, credit scoring, or fraud detection.
- Knowledge of data engineering principles and modern data stack tools (dbt, Airflow, ETL pipelines).
- Proficiency in Excel for detailed analysis and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
