Job Description
Worth AI is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Data Steward to join their fintech team. This role will focus on data integrity, definition, and trustworthiness across the company, encompassing both technical proficiency and business acumen. The data steward will act as the central point for data in underwriting, credit decisioning, and fraud prevention, collaborating with various teams to ensure data quality and actionable insights.
Requirements
- Define and maintain data meaning: Serve as the primary owner of the data dictionary and business glossary.
- Monitor and improve data quality: Develop and maintain dashboards to measure completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
- Establish data standards: Partner with Engineering and Product teams to implement consistent naming conventions and quality thresholds.
- Mine and analyze large-scale datasets: Identify trends and insights to inform credit risk, underwriting, fraud, and pricing.
- Write performant SQL queries: Extract, transform, and analyze data from structured and semi-structured sources.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools: Support Finance, Risk, Operations, and Executive teams in monitoring key KPIs.
- Automate recurring reports and analyses: Improve visibility and reduce manual workflows.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering: Ensure pipelines are reliable and secure.
