Composite Manufacturing Internship

Joby Aviation is seeking a motivated Composite Manufacturing Engineering Intern with a passion for composite fabrication and assembly processes. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing composite manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Heading into junior or senior year of undergraduate degree or above
• Strong interest in composite materials and aerospace manufacturing.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD software (Solidworks, NX, or CATIA).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a "hands-on" mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for authoring technical instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment.
