Job Description
John Brooks Company is seeking a Director of People & Culture to develop and execute the People & Culture strategy within a rapidly expanding organization of 250+ employees. This strategic leadership role focuses on fostering a strong organizational culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring company values are deeply embedded in all aspects of the business. The role requires a strong advocate for People & Culture to collaborate with the CEO and leadership team and champion the company's philosophy of valuing its people.
Requirements
- University degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- CHRL (Certified Human Resources Leader) designation
- 12+ years of progressive People & Culture leadership experience
- 5+ years at a senior managerial level
- Proven experience leading and managing People & Culture teams
- Experience in organizational culture, employee engagement, leadership development, and talent strategy
- Advanced knowledge of Ontario employment legislation
- Experience managing HRIS (preferably Dayforce) to optimize operational efficiency
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws across Canada
