Job Description
Junior Davis Construction Company Inc. is seeking a passionate Experienced Paving Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel-powered equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy duty equipment, contributing to highway and civil construction projects. Requirements
- Diagnose, test, adjust, and repair systems of heavy duty diesel powered public transit vehicles.
- Examines, test drives, and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
- Test mechanical products and equipment.
- Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment.
- Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
- Maintains inventory and restocks parts.
- Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment.
- Travel when required.
