Job Description
Juniper Square is looking for an experienced Manager, Analytics Engineer to lead the technical development of our data offerings in India. This is a critical hands-on leadership role: you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team of Analytics Engineers while continuing to individually contribute to the data model before the team reaches scale.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in a data-focused role (e.g., Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, Data Analyst, or Data Scientist)
- 2+ years of people management experience, with a demonstrated ability to recruit, hire, and manage technical teams
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL is required
- Experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and/or automation is a bonus
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one enterprise BI platform (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and modern cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
- Experience with Looker/LookML is highly preferred
- Proven ability to manage priorities, assign resources, and track metrics/KPIs to ensure the team delivers results on daily, weekly, and monthly timeframes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
