SENIOR IT-SECURITY & GOVERNANCE SPECIALIST (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Senior IT Security & Governance Specialist to join our IT team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our IT governance and information security strategy, representing our Director IT at external and internal review bodies, and leading our Incident Response Teams in case of serious security incidents.

Requirements

• Completed education as a computer scientist (m/w/d) for system integration or a comparable IT education
• Completed study (or comparable qualification) in a relevant field of information technology, cybersecurity or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in IT security, compliance or risk management (ideally in the insurance sector)
• Proven expertise in the strategic implementation and audit leadership of the most important standards (ISO 27001, NIS-2, DORA, DSGVO)
• IT security certifications (e.g. CISSP)
• Experience in collaboration with internal and/or external audit teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at the executive level (Board of Directors, Management)
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage stakeholders with senior-level partners (Director IT, Head of Legal, departments)
• Well-developed strategic and conceptual skills for designing complex control and governance processes
