Job Description
Karo Healthcare is seeking a Senior VAT Accountant/Specialist to join their growing international team in Kaunas, Lithuania. This role involves transforming VAT compliance within European jurisdictions, managing reconciliations, communicating with tax authorities, and contributing to the implementation of new software. The position offers a hands-on experience and opportunities for growth within a dynamic international finance function.
Requirements
- Experience in VAT or finance roles in a multi-country or international setup
- Experience in working with European VAT regulations
- Experience in managing VAT audits and communication with tax authorities
- Strong system proficiency including Excel
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Experience working with ERP systems and ideally VAT software
- Fluent in English
