Job Description
Shift4 is seeking a Senior Accountant to own financial oversight related to POS terminal deployment across European operations. This role focuses on financial control, VAT compliance, and cross-border logistics, requiring a hands-on approach and proactive mindset to ensure accurate accounting and optimize VAT refunds. The ideal candidate will enhance reporting accuracy, cost visibility, and audit readiness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or multinational environments
- In-depth knowledge of VAT as it applies to shipment of goods
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Highly detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or NetSuite (highly desirable)
