Job Description
KCI Technologies is seeking a motivated Engineer-in-Training to assist in the design and preparation of construction drawings for bridge projects. The role involves working under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, contributing to engineering calculations, drafting, and coordination. KCI offers a collaborative and employee-owned environment with ample opportunities for professional growth.
Requirements
- Assist in the design and preparation of construction drawings for a variety of structural (bridge) projects.
- Perform engineering calculations, interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Work with multiple engineering disciplines and perform drafting/CADD work.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and prepare design calculations.
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Review and approve shop drawings and ensure they meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with other practices and sub-consultants.
