Job Description
KCI Technologies is seeking a motivated Site/Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2026, joining their Land Development team. This intern role offers hands-on experience working on public and private development projects, alongside experienced engineers. It requires a 40-hour a week and 10-week period during the mid-May to end of August, with a mentor and dedicated supervisor. Responsibilities include site layout, calculations, permitting, and data preparation.
Requirements
- Assist with design tasks for commercial, residential, and institutional land development projects
- Support site layout, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion/sediment control calculations
- Help prepare construction documents, drawings, and technical specifications
- Participate in site visits and assist with field observation reports
- Collaborate with team members on project organization and cost estimate preparation
