Traffic Engineering Intern

Join us as we Rise to the Challenge at KCI, an engineering, consulting and construction firm serving clients throughout the United States. We're seeking a motivated student for a Traffic Engineering Internship to join our team for Summer 2026.

Requirements

• Assist in preparing traffic signal, pavement marking, signing, lighting, and maintenance of traffic plans
• Support Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) design efforts
• Conduct traffic data collection (counts, field observations, etc.)
• Assist with traffic impact analyses and traffic operations studies
• Support traffic safety and transportation planning studies
• Perform basic traffic analyses using industry software
• Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
• Help prepare written technical memoranda and reports
