Airframe and Powerplant Specialist (Contingent)

As a Contract Field Team Technician at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, you will execute aircraft maintenance, operate shop tools, and perform preventative maintenance. The position involves traveling to various locations and completing work as directed, with maintenance conducted on military aircraft. This is a contingent position requiring contract award.

Requirements

• High School diploma required
• Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred
• Current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required
• 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area
• Broad working knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance and inspection requirements
• Familiar with the installation of aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates etc.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
• US citizen
