As a Financial Reporting Senior Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement closing and global consolidation processes for a newly created JV. This role will involve leading various projects, including implementation of new accounting standards and processes, and coordinating with Global Business Services' (GBS) Management Information Delivery (MID) and Accounting/Reporting teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant accounting and reporting experience in global multinational corporations
- Ability to assist in the set up of a new department – entrepreneurial mindset
- Broad and expert knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles and Sarbanes Oxley as well as US GAAP and IFRS
- Continuous improvement mindset to further the company's program of driving efficiency throughout the financial reporting and consolidation process
- Adaptable approach to effectively execute through change
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities / competing time demands and strong oral, written, and presentation skills to deliver effective communications and presentations
- Think customer orientation to manage leaders' and auditors' expectations, and a continuous improvement mindset to further the company's program of driving efficiency throughout the reporting process
- Ability to build trust with key customers and stakeholders and a desire to broaden his/her exposure and knowledge beyond the corporate office
- Degree educated with ACA from a big four firm
- Knowledge of SAP and HFM required
