Job Description
Kimley-Horn is seeking a Civil or Mechanical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) for the Water/Wastewater and Utilities team in Williamsburg, Virginia. The role involves assisting with design of water systems, pumping stations, and treatment plants, alongside construction coordination and project management. This is a full-time, in-person position.
Requirements
- 2+ years of engineering design experience
- Bachelors or Masters from an ABET accredited university in Civil Engineering
- Engineer-In-Training certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Experience with designing pipelines, pump stations, and hydraulic modeling calculation
- Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as a team
