Kimley-Horn is looking for a Building Inspector to assist engineers with the completion of structural projects in our Fort Lauderdale, Florida, office.

Requirements

• Perform inspections of building envelope systems
• Execute forensic-style field observations
• Monitor construction activities on swing stages, scaffolds, and other elevated work platforms
• Collaborate with project engineers and contractors
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and construction schedules
• Participate in client, contractor, and project team meetings
• Mentor junior staff in proper inspection techniques
