Job Description
Provides nursing care to patients in compliance with nursing standards and regulations. Works under the direction of the physician and the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act to provide nursing care to patients in the ICU. Responsible for making continuing assessments of the patient's total health needs, implementing nursing interventions, and developing and implementing the nursing plan of care.
Requirements
- Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Basic EKG competency within 3 months of hire
- De-escalation Techniques course within 6 months of hire and every 2 years thereafter
- ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire
