Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Database Engineer to assist in implementing software enhancements and providing technical leadership for the team primarily from a backend database (Oracle) focus.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in database design, development, and performance optimization as a Senior Database Engineer
- BS or above in Computer Science or related field
- Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle databases, RAC, Performance & Tuning and SQL Tuning
- Expertise in Database Design, ETL strategies, HA and DR strategy options to maintain RPO and RTO targets
- Experience crafting, building, and deploying applications in a DevOps environment utilizing CI/CD tools
- Experience in Database Performance Tuning and Production Support
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy are a plus
- Knowledge and/or awareness of web/application development technologies that will integrate with the back-end database such as Java/Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Angular, Node JS
- Outstanding problem-solving and debugging skills
