Production Supervisor

Supervises and coordinates the activities of the forging department, develops and implements quality systems, trains employees, and maintains production schedule within specific cost and quality standards.

Requirements

• Requires constant physical activity throughout shift
• Develops and implements quality systems (QS9000 and IATF16949)
• Trains employees by explaining and demonstrating work methods and techniques
• Maintains production schedule within specific cost and quality standards
• Supervises all forging department employees
• Initiates personnel action such as safety training, promotions, performance reports, transfers, discharges, disciplinary measures, and resolves workers grievances
• Maintains attendance, points, PTO requests, and time punches daily
