Senior Accounting Manager

KongBasileConsulting (KBC) is a finance and accounting firm specializing in serving VC-backed technology start-ups. They are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Senior Accounting Manager to maintain a strong accounting function, manage client relationships, and advise clients on financial strategy. The role requires experience in accounting, finance, or consulting and a commitment to supporting sustainable growth for clients.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience across Big 4 audit and corporate accounting environments - highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance
• CPA license preferred
• Strong Excel skills and adaptability to new technology
• Technical knowledge of GAAP / IFRS / SEC accounting and reporting
• Meaningful experience participating in month-end closing activities
• Knowledge of and experience with financial planning & analysis
• Knowledge of and experience with start-up accounting tools and systems (Quickbooks, Xero, NetSuite, Expensify, Bill.com, Gusto, etc.)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reconciliation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent project management and client service skills
• Confidence and curiosity to take on new learning experiences
• Ability and desire to work independently and remotely
• Ability to manage, scale and motivate multiple accounting teams
• Ability and desire to self-start and take on new initiatives
