Job Description
Koniag Management Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer with Top-Secret clearance to support critical infrastructure at a government client in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise network design, implementation, and maintenance with a focus on secure government environments.
Requirements
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network systems
- Configure and manage network devices including Cisco, Dell, and Palo Alto equipment
- Monitor network performance and implement optimization solutions
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide resolution
- Implement and maintain network security controls
- Manage LAN/WAN systems and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans
- Configure VPNs, load balancers, and network security devices
- Perform capacity planning and network analysis
- Coordinate with system owners and security teams
- Maintain network monitoring systems
- Document network configurations and changes
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior staff
- Interface with vendors for procurement and maintenance
