Network Engineer

Arlluk Technology Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support ATS and our government customer in Washington, DC. The Network Engineer will design, configure, deploy, and administer our customer's local and wide area network infrastructure.

Requirements

• Design and implement secure network architectures using routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers and related devices
• Configure and integrate various routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
• Provision VLANs, access control lists, QoS policies and other services
• Perform network upgrades, maintenance, and optimizations to ensure high availability
• Monitor network health, performance, and security using industry tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve network outages, connectivity and security issues
• Automate network configuration and operational tasks through scripting
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams and runbooks
• Work with external vendors and service providers for circuit deployments
• Participate in the evaluation and testing of new networking products/technologies
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to junior team members
