Barwaiter/Waitress

As a Viking Shipboard Team Member, you will represent Viking's values and provide exceptional service to guests onboard. The Bar Waiter is responsible for the efficient operations of beverage services in assigned areas, creating a friendly and guest-oriented service culture to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Bar Waiter or similar position in a 5-star hospitality and/or bar environment
• In-depth beverage knowledge (wines, cocktails, etc.)
• Ability to work independently
• Minimum age of 21 years old
• Physically fit and in good health
• Ability to carry heavy items and stand, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods of time
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
• Ability to speak additional languages is an advantage
• Flexible, stress-resistant, committed team player, and exceptional work ethic
• Guest-focused, service-oriented, positive personality, professional appearance, and impeccable hygiene standards
