Job Description
The Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician will work under direct supervision of a pharmacist, assisting with prescriptions, inventory, and patient care. The role involves running cash registers, answering phones, and following established procedures to ensure accurate dispensing of medications. A focus on quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance is expected.
Requirements
- Follow standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks
- Accurately conduct cash register and telephone duties
- Understand pharmacy management system and POS system
- Proficient in inventory management, cash controls and pharmacy inventory processes
- Respect patient care programs
- Must pass all mandatory and regulatory training programs
- Responsible for completing all store clerk duties
- Professional services: proficient in MTM program management
