Job Description
The Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician will perform a variety of customer service, inventory, and pharmacy operations under the supervision of a pharmacist. This role involves assisting with prescription dispensing, inventory management, quality assurance, and compliance with regulations. A key aspect of the position is the management of third-party claims and adherence to all state and federal guidelines.
Requirements
- Perform duties of Pharmacy Clerk, including cash handling and phone answering.
- Accurately perform pharmacy technology tasks such as dispensing, data entry, and workflow.
- Follow all pharmacy procedures to ensure medication accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and processing returns.
