The Assistant Manager will undertake smaller and medium-sized assignments independently, establish professional relationships with onshore team members, and provide regular updates on work pipeline to the team. They will also manage end-to-end audits, review work performed by subordinates, and offer technical accounting advisory support to international KPMG teams and clients.
Requirements
- Undertake smaller and medium-sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting to a Manager or Senior Manager
- Establish strong professional relationships with onshore team members through weekly meetings and calls with onshore stakeholders
- Review the work performed by the subordinates and coach them
- Provide support/assistance for proposals/business development
- Offer technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support and research to international KPMG teams and clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards
- Prepare and present accounting workpapers, document controls and audit findings
- Audit complex sections of the financial statements of companies as per country specific statutory requirements
- Identify issues/missing information, manage & track the open issues until resolved
