Job Description
We are seeking a Storage Admin to undertake implementation and support activities for storage infrastructure, with a focus on EMC, Network Appliances, and other Enterprise-class Storage Hardware. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Veritas Volume Manager, Powerpath, and LVM, as well as good understanding of monitoring and replication strategies.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Enterprise-class Storage Hardware from EMC, HDS, and Network Appliances
- Hands-on experience with Veritas Volume Manager, Powerpath, and LVM
- Good understanding of monitoring and replication strategies
- Excellent experience in storage concepts
- Working knowledge of Veritas Netbackup Administration or Tivoli Storage Manager Administration
- Familiarity with IP Network, WAN, and LAN-free (SAN) based data backup design and configuration
- Experience with data protection and backup recovery solutions
- Unix and/or Windows systems administration experience
- Good understanding of OS/Application storage requirements
