Production Supervisor, 3rd Shift

The Production Supervisor oversees the daily workflow of a department, managing personnel, maintaining process control, and ensuring production efficiency. This role involves scheduling production, resolving problems, analyzing data, and maintaining a safe work environment. Collaboration with supervisors and the union is also important.

Requirements

• Associate degree or comparable work experience, preferred
• Two to Five years of supervisor experience
• Melt shop or foundry experience, preferred
• Prior union work experience preferred
• 5S and lean methodology experience, preferred
• 8-12-hour shift availability
• Proven skills in supervision, coaching, managing processes, process improvement, production planning, controls, and instrumentation
• Strong supervisory, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent written and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Physical requirements: 8-12-hour shifts, bending/reaching/twisting, wearing PPE, working in adverse weather conditions.
