Highway Engineer

LaBella is seeking a qualified Highway Engineer to join their Richmond, VA office. The role involves full-cycle transportation engineering, including roadway, trail, and pedestrian projects. Responsibilities include design, reporting, field work, and document preparation under supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (with concentration in Transportation)
• 5 to 7 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree from ABET Accredited College
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, OpenRoads and Civil 3D
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Hydrologic and Hydraulic modeling software (a plus)
• Experience with VDOT and local government projects (a plus)
• Desire to work in a team environment
