Power Systems Engineer

LaBella is seeking a Power Systems Engineer with 5+ years of experience in protection and control system design for commercial, industrial, generation, and renewable projects. Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• 5 or more years of experience in protection and control system design and cost estimating
• Knowledge of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), NERC, NEC, NESC, NEMA, and ANSI standards
• Comfortable evaluating and coordinating the interoperability of protective relays and other equipment
• Ability to design and perform power system load flow studies and fault studies
• Familiarity with telecommunications, protective relaying, and automation
