Protection and Control Engineer

LaBella’s Program Management Services Division is seeking a Protection and Control Engineer to serve as an independent advocate for the client in all aspects of project development and completion. This role involves reviewing and evaluating engineering documentation, ensuring alignment with project specifications, and overseeing the integrity and reliability of electrical protection and control systems. The Engineer will be responsible for ensuring systems are designed and installed in accordance with client needs and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 5 years protection and controls experience in the power industry.
• Experience in the design, management, and commissioning of protection and control systems for distribution and distribution automation projects.
• Experience in Distributed Energy Resource management processes and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
