Catholic Music Director

The Catholic Music Director provides music activities for the Tyndall Air Force Base Catholic Community, including musical directorship and instrument accompaniment for the Catholic Service at the Tyndall AFB Chapel. The role involves leading the praise team and congregation in worship, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, and possessing a deep understanding of Catholic Faith traditions.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of college in music (or related field), or equivalent years of related experience in a chapel/church setting
• Extensive knowledge of Catholic Faith traditions
• Ability to develop and maintain a healthy and positive relationship with volunteers, parishioners, and staff
